Fuel tanker fire closes I-90 westbound in western South Dakota

MEADE COUNTY, S.D. (KELO) -- I-90 westbound is closed at Exit 52 after a fuel tanker fire at mile marker 51, according to the South Dakota Highway Patrol report at 6:00 p.m. (MST).

Traffic is being diverted off the exit and getting back on I-90 at Exit 48.

Law enforcement and fire units are on site. Please travel through the area with caution.

Expect delays and traffic congestion.
