Gunfire erupts near bar and lounge in Southern California leaving 2 dead

A homicide investigation is underway after two adults were shot and killed at a bar and lounge in San Bernardino County Saturday night, officials confirmed to KTLA.

The violence unfolded around 8 p.m. in the 27100 block of Baseline Street in Highland, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

When deputies with SBSD’s Highland Station responded to the scene, two gunshot victims were located and rushed to the hospital where they were later pronounced deceased, officials said.

Several people inside of Joy’s Bar & Lounge remained at the scene and were able to safely leave the by 10 p.m.
