Headed to San Diego Comic-Con? Here's everything to know before you go

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — San Diego Comic-Con is right around the corner and fans headed to the convention are anxiously anticipating its return.

For those that are headed to the convention this weekend, FOX 5/KUSI has answered some of the most frequently asked questions about Comic-Con to help make your experience as smooth as possible.

What is the badge policy?

Everyone entering San Diego Comic-Con events, whether it's in the main convention halls or the Indigo Ballroom at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront hotel, will be required to have their badge visibly on their body.

Comic-Con badges are all equipped with radio frequency identification technology, so guests will simply need to tap their badge over a scanner at the entrance gate and wait for the light to turn green. When leaving, fans will similarly need to tap the scanners to allow for re-entrance.
