NATIONAL CITY, Calif. (FOX 5KUSI) -- Described by its sellers as an "architectural masterpiece," there's a castle in National City that's summoning new owners. Will it be you?
Originally built in the Roaring Twenties-era, this fortress was made for royalty, or at least for those who were -- at the time -- embracing an economic engine fueled by a time period in which America's wealth doubled over a 10-year span.
The walls of the castles, especially the ballroom area, may have once been filled with people impacted by the onset of "consumer culture," meaning they likely mirrored one another while sporting elegant fashion styles.
