Here's how a global IT outage is impacting MAF

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The City of Midland said flights have been arriving and departing as normal at Midland Air and Space Port; however, there are multiple delays from the outage and travelers have been advised to check with their airline for flight statuses.

Delaware North, MAF's food court has been impacted and is, for now, unable to serve customers.

A widespread technology outage grounded flights, knocked banks offline and media outlets off air on Friday in a massive disruption that affected companies and services around the world and highlighted dependence on software from a handful of providers.

Cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike said that the issue believed to be behind the outage was not a security incident or cyberattack but rather a software update that impacted Microsoft products.
