HIGHLIGHTS: Beers pitches near-perfect game in RockHounds shutout vs. Arkansas

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ) - Starting pitcher Blake Beers pitched a near-perfect game in the Midland RockHounds 3-0 win over the Arkansas Travelers. Beers had a perfect game through seven innings until it was broken up by a hit in the top of the eighth.

Beers still finished with an impressive stat line, eight innings, one hit, no runs and six strikeouts.

The RockHounds lead the series against Arkansas 3-0.
