Hit and run kills 19-year-old from Bentonville

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) --- Arkansas State Police said they found a 19-year-old who was killed in a hit and run on Interstate 530 Wednesday night.

A police report states that Kalei Owen, of Bentonville, was walking north on I-530 near Exit 27 when she was hit by an unknown vehicle. State troopers said her body was found around 10:30 p.m.

She was pronounced dead on the scene, according to the Jefferson County Deputy Coroner Clyde McDaniel.
