INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – A horde of Hoosiers on Friday were returning home victorious.

Indiana University football fans were a common sight at the Indianapolis International Airport as thousands made their way back to the Hoosier state following Indiana’s 38-3 win over Alabama in the College Football Playoff.

But fans didn’t feel too far from home even out in Pasadena, California, saying a strong turnout made the Rose Bowl feel like home field.

“We took over,” Carson Heath said after departing his plane from California. “I‘m still trying to process it. It’s a lot of shock.”
