How to find and give flood relief in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Housing is perhaps one of the greatest needs following flooding that hit historic crests on some Hoosier rivers.

The Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority is providing temporary housing grants to help eligible displaced Hoosiers transition from emergency shelters into hotels, apartments and other temporary accommodations. Indianapolis shelters

The American Red Cross was providing shelters as of Monday afternoon. In Indianapolis, residents without pets can go to the American Red Cross shelter at the Washington Township Schools Services Center, 8401 Westfield Blvd.
