ODESSA, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- The Odessa Animal Shelter closed temporarily Wednesday after the HVAC unit caught fire.
Shelter officials said the unit was used to cool the animal shelter kennels and City employees are working to get a new cooling system in place, but the shelter will remain closed until that can be accomplished.
