I’ve seen plenty of people stay active into their 50s, but once their core starts losing capacity, those same movements take more effort and feel less steady. A strong core keeps things simple. You move, and your body supports you without any extra thought.

From a coaching standpoint, the people who move the best over time usually have one thing in common. Their core can stay engaged for longer periods without breaking position. That ability comes down to strength and endurance working together.
