INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Synagogues in Indianapolis are increasing security measures after the targeted attack at a Michigan house of worship on Thursday.

News 8 spoke Friday with members of the local Jewish community.

“I was disappointed that something like this happened again,” said Rabbi Hal Schevitz. “I say ‘again’ because we have had so many incidents like this recently.”

In a statement, Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department told News 8 that they have increased patrols and visibility around local synagogues and Jewish community centers as a precautionary measure.<...
