Intoxicated Scott County driver arrested after crash sends adult and child to hospital

SCOTTSBURG, Ind. (WISH) — Indiana State Police arrested a Scott County man Tuesday night for his involvement in a two car crash that sent an adult and child to the hospital according to a Thursday release.

Investigators say the 25-year-old Jacob Boley, of Austin, was arrested following a crash involving Boley’s Camry and a Buick with two passengers.

The crash happened at the intersection of U.S. 31 and Marshfield Road just north of Scottsburg.

The adult driving the Buick was taken by ambulance to the University of Louisville Hospital.

The 7-year-old child passenger of the Buick was taken by air to the Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville.

ISP arrested Boley on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
