ST. LOUIS - A force investigations unit officially closed the case file Friday regarding the deadly 2022 shooting at Central Visual Performing Arts High School, concluding a thorough review of the tragedy.
On Oct. 24, 2022, a 19-year-old gunman, Orlando Harris, killed two people in a shooting at the south St. Louis school. Police later shot and killed Harris, who hurt seven others in the incident. Teacher Jean Kuczka and student Alexzandria Bell died in the shooting.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department will hold a news conference at 11 a.m. Monday to discuss a timeline related to the investigation and the release of two relevant records.
