WASHINGTON (WISH) — IU athletic director Scott Dolson is attending a college sports roundtable with President Donald Trump on Friday at the White House.
More than 30 college sports leaders, elected officials, and more will convene for the roundtable. President Donald Trump will be the chair of the roundtable.
The full list of participants includes conference commissioners like the Big Ten’s Tony Petitti, NBA commissioner Adam Silver, former college football coaches Nick Saban and Urban Meyer, and former United States Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
The focus of the roundtable is to discuss solutions for the problems in college athletics.
Dolson is in his sixth year as IU’s athletic director. He graduated from IU as well, and was a student manager for the men’s basketball team for four years under head coach Bob Knight. He was the program’s head manager in 1988.
