IU players say Rose Bowl felt like “playing a home game”
PASADENA, Calif. (WISH) — No. 1 IU beat No. 9 Alabama in the Rose Bowl, 38-3, to advance to the semifinals of the College Football Playoff.
One thing that stood out at the Rose Bowl was the amount of IU fans that made the trip out to Southern California.
One player after the game said that the atmosphere felt like a home game.
“It was like playing a home game,” IU wide receiver Charlie Becker said. “It was so loud. The Hoosier nation is fantastic. Best fans in the world. And to see all them come out to California, it’s amazing, and I love the Hoosier nation.”
