IU players appreciate Hoosier nation during CFP run

ATLANTA (WISH) — Hoosier nation showed up in a big way for IU’s first Rose Bowl win in program history.

The players appreciated the turnout, and are looking forward to playing in from of the IU faithful again in the Peach Bowl.

“Hoosier nation, they were a huge reason in why we beat Alabama and the way we beat them, is because it was a home game for us,” IU quarterback Fernando Mendoza said. “I believe it was 80% Indiana fans, 20% Alabama fans, and having that home field advantage means so much to us as players.
