JEFFERSON COUNTY (WTAJ) - The Pine Creek K9 Search and Rescue is hosting its third annual first responders as they continue their search for more members.
On July 27, first responders will gather at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds with multiple activities planned. Attendees will also have the ability to learn exactly what first responders do every day.
"I have five to seven fire companies coming and two search and rescues and the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department so I'm definitely taking more fire companies for the touch the truck," Pine Creek K9 Search and Rescue public relations coordinator, Lyndsey Moore said.
The day will also have an entrapment demonstration where the community can see how the fire companies get the doors off to save people's lives.
The event is free for the public, and there will be chances to purchase raffle tickets as well as fundraiser tickets for other first responders' events. For more information on the raffle tickets, or to join in on the fun visit Read Entire Article
