CHICAGO (NewsNation) — It's been 50 years since The Beach Boys released their album "Endless Summer," and to celebrate, the group is touring across the U.S. this summer with special guest John Stamos.
The Beach Boys also released a new documentary on Disney+, which reveals the history of how the group originated, including the ups and downs that came along with the fame.
When Mike Love and the rest of the crew were just getting started, they had a station wagon with a U-Haul trailer in the back and had to set up and break down all their equipment and sets, he told NewsNation.
Now, nearly six decades and 100 million records sold later, the Beach Boys have a great crew that does it for them.
"It's way better than when we started," Love said.
