JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Johnstown man pleaded guilty on Tuesday to violating federal narcotic law after he was arrested in a multi-state drug bust.
On Aug, 6, George Mazey, 53, pleaded guilty for his role in a drug trafficking ring in Cambria County, according to the Department of Justice for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is set to be sentenced on Dec. 11.
The courts were advised that from Feb. 2021 to April 2021 Mazey conspired with others to possess and sell 40 grams or more of a mixture that contained fentanyl, a mixture that contained heroin and another mixture that had cocaine. Mazey was also caught in April of 2021 attempting to distribute a substance containing cocaine and fentanyl, according to United States Attorney Eric G. Olshan.
