The Resurrection Mixtape celebrates life and legacy
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The “Uncharted” concert series returns to Hilbert Circle Theatre courtesy of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra on Wednesday, Jan. 14.
During the “Resurrection Mixtape” tribute concert, attendees can experience a fusion of the music, messages, and legacies of late rappers The Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac Shakur alongside Gustav Mahler’s “Resurrection Symphony.”
Conductor Steve Hackman explores themes of life, death, legacy, struggle, and triumph across two acts. The performance includes hits from both artists such as “California Love”, “Juicy”, “Keep Ya Head Up”, and “Sky’s The Limit.”
