Lauryn Hill and Fugees quietly cancel tour days before showtime

It could all be so simple, but Lauryn Hill, Pras and Wyclef Jean would rather make it hard.

Hill and the Fugees canceled part of their tour just days before they were set to hit the stage.

The majority of summer and fall concert dates for the Miseducation Anniversary Tour were removed from Ticketmaster late Tuesday and ticketholders have started receiving notices about refunds.

The Fugees reunion was an extension of Hill's tour celebrating her 1998 album "The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill." The tour was also set to feature Hill's son YG Marley.

However, the Sept. 4 show in Huntsville, Alabama still appears to be happening.

The European leg of the tour, which is slated to begin in October, doesn't appear to be canceled at this time.

The tour was set to begin on Aug. 9 in Tampa, Florida, with a stop scheduled at the Hollywood Bowl on Sept. 17.
