Lawmaker demands IEDC investigation
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — A high-ranking House Democrat on Thursday said lawmakers need to find out whether corruption or criminal wrongdoing occurred in the Indiana Economic Development Corporation’s business dealings.
Rep. Ed DeLaney, D-Indianapolis, who serves on the House Ways and Means Committee, said the 2025 forensic audit of the IEDC showed there was a possibility for corruption but did not go far enough into determining whether actual wrongdoing occurred.
