LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - It's been nearly nine months since Marquis Harper was fatally shot in the 6500 block of Mabelvale Cutoff, and his family is still searching for answers.
"It’s just overwhelming that he’s not here, that somebody would take his life for nothing," Mary Franklin, Harper's Mother, said.
Franklin says she will not give up on finding answers to help her get justice for her son.
"The $5,000 is going to stand until people come forward with information. I’m not taking it down, I’m not backing down, and I want justice for my son," Franklin said.
Missing her son dearly and still remembering the day she drove up to the scene as if it were yesterday.
"I pulled up to pick my son up from getting his hair done, and my son was lying out there in the shop multiple times," Franklin said.
