LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The original Purple Cow restaurant located on Cantrell Road in Little Rock is set to officially reopen the week of Sept. 9.
The March 31 tornado that ripped through Little Rock last year left the restaurant in bricks and pieces.
Now the restaurant is set to re-open a year and a half later. Continuing the legacy of the original Purple Cow first built in 1989.
"This is really the legacy of Purple Cow. This is the original. This what a lot of people relate to Purple Cow," President of Purple Cow restaurants, Ken Vaughan, said.
Vaughan says the restaurant will look a little different, as the construction company renovates the inside to serve more guests. But the purple tin roof will remain the same.
