DENVER (KDVR) — A wildfire burning in northern Colorado west of Loveland remains at 5,080 acres with 0% containment on Wednesday.
The fire, known as the Alexander Mountain Fire, began shortly before noon on Monday in the mountains west of Sylvan Dale Ranch.
As of Wednesday, several road closures and mandatory evacuations are in place. The following map shows the mandatory evacuations in place for several areas:
- CR18E from Pole Hill to Pinewood Reservoir
- Drake to Dam Store along Highway 34 including Storm Mountain and Palisade Mountain
- Waltonia Road, Sylvan Dale to Ellis Ranch
- Eden Valley to Sunrise Ranch
- Bobcat Ridge and Flatiron Reservoir
- CR18E from Pole Hill to Pinewood Reservoir
- Masonville area and Glade Road from Highway 34 to Indian Creek
- County Road 43 from Drake to just west of Old Bridge Road
- North side of Carter Lake, north to Highway 34
