DENVER (KDVR) — The deadly Stone Canyon Fire continues to burn in Boulder County near Lyons.
As of Thursday morning, the fire has burned 1,548 acres with 20% containment. The remains of one person were discovered in a home along the fire line. The cause of the death is being investigated.
The Stone Canyon Fire began Tuesday afternoon in a neighborhood north of Lyons. Evacuations for the town of Lyons were lifted Wednesday morning, although some homes may not have utility service when residents return.
