Louisiana OMV warns residents of scam texts

The Louisiana Office of Motor Vehicles (OMV) is warning residents of scam texts that threaten suspension of vehicle registration for outstanding tickets or fees, and advises people to avoid clicking on links in unsolicited messages, not to respond with personal information, and to report suspicious texts to the FTC.
