INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Maddi Gordon, 21, will make her professional debut in the 2026 NHRA season driving the Carlyle Tools Top Fuel dragster, marking a major milestone as she moves from her family-run Top Alcohol Funny Car team to compete for Rookie of the Year honors.
Gordon, a multiple-time Top Alcohol Funny Car winner and the 100th woman to win an NHRA national event, will race with Ron Capps Motorsports, based in Brownsburg. Her debut comes as the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series kicks off in March. After earning her Top Alcohol Funny Car license in 2023, she spent the 2024 and 2025 seasons racing with her family’s team.
