Man fatally shot by police in Hollywood was 'speaking to ghosts,' armed with knife, LAPD says

The man called 911 and "stated he was armed with a knife, threatening to kill himself, speaking to ghosts and had expressed that he would kill anyone who approached his front door," the department said.
