UPPER WEST SIDE, Manhattan (PIX11) – A man was shot inside a NYCHA apartment complex on the Upper West Side on Sunday, according to the NYPD.
It happened at 845 Columbus Ave., which is the location of the Frederick Douglass Houses, around 11:30 p.m. A 26-year-old man was shot one time in his torso, according to authorities.
The victim was taken to Mount Sinai Morningside.
Bullets were found inside the building, according to authorities. There was also a blood trail to 865 Columbus Ave., but police said it's unknown who the blood belongs to.
Four men fled the scene going southbound on Citi Bikes, according to authorities.
