MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- A man was arrested on Wednesday by the Midland County Sheriff's Office after he allegedly went into a store and pulled out a gun, robbing two $5-dollar drinks.
According to MCSO, around 4:40 p.m., on Friday, July 5, police responded to reports of an aggravated robbery at 8517 FM 307 in the Farmer-to-Market Center in Midland.
Police reports showed that upon arrival, a woman who was working when the robbery took place, told officials what happened and identified the man as 26-year-old Sajel Gonzalez, who she knew because he allegedly used to date a woman who worked with her.
Officials reported that the woman also told them that Gonzalez was not allowed at the store because he would periodically visit and was “creepy.”
According to the woman’s reports, Gonzalez walked into the store through the back entrance with a backpack, grabbed an H20 tea and lemonade, waited in line, and then once he was at the front, pulled out a gun and pointed it at her.
