HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — Dairy Queen is celebrating another year of miracles by raising money for local children's hospitals, one Blizzard at a time.
Blizzard lovers can find a sweet way to make a difference on Miracle Treat Day, a day dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Dairy Queen's partnership with Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
To celebrate the milestone, every purchase of a Dairy Queen Blizzard treat will go to children's hospitals.
Dairy Queen locations across the Rio Grande Valley will take part to benefit Driscoll Children's Hospital, located in Edinburg.
For every Blizzard sold on Miracle Treat Day, $1 or more will be donated to Driscoll Children's Hospital through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
"These donations provide critical funding for life-saving treatments and essential services for kids in need," Dairy Queen announced. "Your support helps ensure that every child receives the care they deserve."
The nationwide fundraiser will take place at participating locations, Thursday, July 25.
