Mobile man arrested after convenience store shooting: Police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Officers with the Mobile Police Department have arrested a man who they say was involved in a robbery and shooting at a convenience store on Sunday, Aug. 4.

22-year-old Ja'Kobi Jamious Harris was arrested in connection with the incident on Costarides Street.

According to an MPD news release, officers were called to Jimmy's Convenience Store & Liquor around 3 p.m. for a report of a shooting.

When officers arrived, they found that gunfire had hit the business, but no one was injured, according to the release.
