More rain coming

Heavy rainfall fell once again across the Northern part of the state this afternoon. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, and Flash Flood Warnings were issued across the state. As we head overnight, showers will continue to move through northern New Mexico, slowly dying down early Saturday Morning.

Looking forward to the weekend showers should persist for the North and the West through Sunday. By early next week, the high pressure will move eastward to the Texas panhandle. This will allow a subtropical tap of monsoon moisture to be funneled into New Mexico on Monday and Tuesday. Causing more widespread rain across the state.
