SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- A motorcyclist was injured during a collision with a vehicle Saturday night in the Bay Terraces neighborhood, said the San Diego Police Department.
The incident occurred around 10:45 p.m. when a 40-year-old man was riding a 2010 Harley Davidson motorcycle westbound in the 6800 block of Doriana Street, police said.
At that same time, a 24-year-old man was driving a 2012 Volkswagon Golf westbound on the same road. Authorities said he pulled into a driveway to make a U-turn and then collided with the motorcyclist.
The rider was transported to a local hospital with a fractured femur, while the driver of the vehicle was not injured during the collision.
