DENVER (KDVR) — A motorcyclist was killed and two others were injured after a crash in Aurora Thursday morning.
At around 9:15 a.m., the Aurora Police Department responded to a crash between a motorcycle and an SUV at the intersection of Havana Street and Tennessee Avenue.
Police said the man riding the motorcycle died on scene and two adults in the SUV were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
There are traffic impacts in that area while police investigate.
As of 10 a.m., Aurora police said all northbound lanes of Havana Street are closed at Mississippi Avenue. Two southbound lanes of Havana are blocked at Tennessee Avenue.
Drivers should take Dayton Street or Peoria Street as alternate routes.
The Aurora Police Department's Traffic Unit is investigating. Police have not said what factors may have led to the crash.
