MOUNTAIN GREEN, Utah (ABC4) -- A motorcyclist has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after crashing into a road barricade on Trappers Loop in Morgan County on Monday night.
The Mountain Green Fire Protection District said the crash was reported near milepost 3 around 9 p.m. on July 29. The rider had reportedly struck the barrier and flew over the trailer and down the hill on the other side.
The motorcyclist landed about 60 feet down the embankment and suffered life-threatening injuries. Green Fire crews were able to hike down the hill with equipment and provide life-saving medical care on the scene until the rider could be taken to a local area hospital.
Officials did not disclose the injuries or provide any identifying details - including age, name, or gender - about the motorcyclist.
It is currently unclear what led to the crash.
