MSCO arrests two parents after five-year-old child with autism found on road

MIDLAND, Texas (KMID/KPEJ)- Two parents have been arrested for Abandoning and endangering a child after reports were made of a found child on South County Road in Midland.

According to the Midland County Sheriff’s Office, on Friday, July 25, officers responded to the 2100 block of SCR 1140 after a report of a found child.

Reports showed that upon investigations the child was found to be five years old and autistic.

Officials reported that after further investigation, contact was made with 30-year-old Amanda Wilson and 32-year-old Nathaniel Spellings, the parents of the found child.
