DENVER (KDVR) -- A mudslide impacted traffic for several hours Saturday on Colorado Highway 133 south of Carbondale in Pitkin County, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The "large mudslide" on the highway, which occurred at Avalanche Road, was first reported early Saturday morning by Pitkin County.
The roadway was closed for a time but has since reopened with alternating traffic, according to CDOT. The alternating traffic was still in effect as of 11 a.m.
People were advised to drive at slower speeds on the road.
