RAPID CITY, S.D. (KELO) -- A multi-state meth distribution ring has three men sentenced to federal prison.
United States Attorney Alison J. Ramsdell announced today that U.S. District Judge Karen E. Schreier has sentenced three men convicted of Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance.
Chris Janis, a.k.a “Izzy” Janis, age 50, of Manderson, South Dakota, was sentenced on July 25,
2024, to six years in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release and a special
assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund for $100.
Dalton Fiala, age 24, of Buffalo, Wyoming, was sentenced on July 26, 2024, to four years in
federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release and a special assessment to the
Federal Crime Victims Fund for $100.
Richard Glover, age 43, of Denver, Colorado, was sentenced on July 26, 2024, to 17 years and six
months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release and a special assessment to the Federal Crime Victims Fund for $100.
Janis was indicted by a federal grand jury in the summer of 2023 and pleaded guilty on March 15, 2024. Glover and Fiala were indicated by a federal grand jury in the fall of 2023 and pleaded guilty on April 26, 2024.
