Name released in Jackson County fatal crash

BELVIDERE, S.D. (KELO) -- A Henry, TN man died Tuesday afternoon in a single motorcycle crash on I-90, two miles west of Belvidere.

According to the S.D. Department of Public Safety, at 4:16 p.m., Ricky Dale Hardin, 64, was driving his Harley Davidson STC eastbound on I-90. Hardin left the road, entered the median and the motorcycle rolled, separating him from the vehicle. Hardin was killed from the injuries he received.

It is not known whether he was wearing a helmet.

The South Dakota Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
