New grass fire sparks in Ken Caryl Valley near Quarry Fire

DENVER (KDVR) — Fire crews began responding Tuesday night to a new fire that started near the Quarry Fire in Jefferson County.

A FOX31 crew spotted the fire around 8:40 p.m. West Metro Fire Rescue soon posted that the grass fire was along Valley Road in Ken Caryl Valley and said no structures were threatened.

No further information was immediately available. FOX31 is on the scene and will update this story when new information is in.
