SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Looking for a trip to Canada? Porter Airlines is adding nonstop flights to Toronto-Pearson International Airport from San Diego International Airport this year.
Beginning Dec. 9, there will be four weekly flights year-round between San Diego and Toronto on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, according to the airline.
Flights out of San Diego to Toronto depart at 2:05 p.m. and arrive at 9:40 p.m., while flights from Toronto to San Diego will depart at 10:25 a.m. and arrive at 1:10 p.m.
Porter Airlines will also be offering winter seasonal service to Palm Springs with three weekly flights starting Dec. 12.
The brand-new Embraer E195-E2 aircraft, a 132-seat aircraft with its two-by-two format, will be used for both routes.
Los Angeles and San Francisco are the other two California cities that are nonstop destinations with Porter.
