New York taxpayers paid $1.2 billion in subsidies to Hollywood in 2025

Government watchdog group Reinvent Albany called for the elimination of New York's film tax credit program after taxpayers paid nearly $1.2 billion to Hollywood companies for in-state production in 2025.
