Newark Police Request Help Finding Missing 12-Year-Old Girl

NEWARK, NJ — Newark Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé is calling for public assistance in locating 12-year-old Jolie Diaz, who was reported missing since August 6, 2024.

Jolie Diaz, a Black female, stands 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She has brown eyes, black hair, and a light complexion. Jolie is known to frequent several areas in Newark, including the 100 block of Parker Street, the basketball courts at Branch Brook Park, and Newark Penn Station.

Director Fragé and the Newark Police are urging anyone with information about Jolie’s current location to contact the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). Your help could be crucial in ensuring her safe return.
