DENVER (KDVR) — A brother of Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic was charged with assault after a viral video showed him punching a fan during a playoff game at Ball Arena.
It happened during the April 22 first-round game versus the Los Angeles Lakers, when the Nuggets claimed a buzzer-beater victory at home. A TikTok video shows Jokic’s older brother, 41-year-old Strahinja, pushing his way down the stands and throwing a punch toward a male spectator's head.
Strahinja Jokic — who is described in court records at 6 feet, 9 inches tall and 287 pounds — faces a misdemeanor count of third-degree assault. The charge entered the court record on Friday.
