Noem on VP pick: ‘Whatever I can to help them win’

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – Gov. Kristi Noem, once considered a possible choice to become former President Donald Trump’s vice president pick, has reacted to the news about JD Vance being named to join Trump. 

On X, Noem posted: “Republicans, we’ve got our ticket! President Trump and @JDVance1 will unite this country, and I look forward to doing whatever I can to help them win.” 

Noem, who will speak Monday night at the Republican National Convention, admitted during a March town hall in Mitchell she had spoken with Trump about possibly serving as his vice president.
