NEW YORK (PIX11) – The New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene will spray for mosquitos in two boroughs next week in an effort to lower the risk of West Nile virus.
The first spray will be on Staten Island between 8:30 p.m. on Monday and 6 a.m. on Tuesday. These are the neighborhoods that are getting sprayed:
- Arrochar
- Bay Terrace
- Dongan Hills
- Egbertville
- Eltingville
- Great Kills
- Lighthouse Hill
- Midland Beach
- New Dorp
- New Dorp Beach
- Oakwood Heights
- Richmond
- South Beach
