OHA advances review of possible KITV, KIKU purchase

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs has voted to move forward with the first phase of a financial review to potentially purchase local television stations KITV and KIKU, which supporters believe could create a powerful platform for Native Hawaiian voices and create jobs.
